Showing creative flamenco enthusiasts how to sew dance costumes that are beautiful and functional, even if they’re fairly new to sewing.

Hi, I’m Anke Herrmann – Business coach & online tech mentor. Podcast host. Author.

I DEMYSTIFY and SIMPLIFY Online TECH To Help Passionate but Tech-Frustrated Coaches and Educators IMPLEMENT Their Ideas Boldly & Turn Their VISIONS Into Sold Out Online Offers.

I work with authors, coaches, experts & other free-spirited, open minded solopreneurs who are passionate about serving others and determined to turn their big vision into a thriving business, in a creative AND methodical way, without blindly following other people's footsteps.

I'm the “translator” between visionary business ideas and their implementation online.

I guide them through the creative process of turning a spark of an idea into a stable business, like an architect for someone building a house, so that they can get traction with their business before the dream turns into a nightmare.

Living in the south of Spain, programmer, dressmaker, translator, always learning.

My wisest teachers are called Leo, Cai & Hada, have four legs and a wet nose. I'm grateful they found me.

Topics I love talking about

  • Taming the Tech Monster – As a software developer and coach I love helping “non-techies” get over tech frustration (it's what my book is about) and help them use technology effectively to bring their vision to life
  • Entrepreneurship – Taking the leap and starting a business, the most exhilerating and challenging journey
  • Mind/mindset – Understanding what makes us tick is the key to everything
  • Creativity – We all have innate creative potential, it's a matter of knowing how to tap into it more often
  • Embracing uncertainty – Uncertainty is scary if we expect what's coming to be worse than what we've got. What if it wasn't?
  • Language learning – The first one is the hardest, it gets easier after that. And no, it's not a matter of age.

Bio

Anke Herrmann – Business Coach & Tech Monster Whisperer

Originally from East Germany, she lived in Australia, the UK and for the last 18+ years in the south of Spain. She loves making things (with a special love for flamenco costumes, in fact, her first business was a sewing business), mad about languages – real languages and programming languages, addicted to learning, crazy about dogs.

She’s changed careers as often as countries but really always only does one thing .. bringing ideas to life, in the simplest, most efficient and creative way, and gently guiding others through that process.

In her work with clients, professional coaches and educators, it's about helping them serve more clients better through online programs and smooth backend systems to minimize admin work, so that they can do what they love doing rather than wasting precious time and money building the wrong thing with the wrong tools.

The Short Version:

Business Coach, Tech Mentor, Author, Podcast Host. Proudly Owned by 3 dogs.

In 2004 she quit her software developer job in the UK to start her own sewing business in Spain.

Today she offers her unique MIX of compassionate coach, patient teacher, free-spirited creative mind and experienced software developer, to help professional coaches create tech systems that allow them to expand beyond 1:1 through impactful online programs.

Being a Guest on Oleg Caraus' Power of Insights Podcast

This is how Oleg introduces the episode: “In this episode, we have spoken about what takes to start a business and how you can handle the difficulty. Anke’s experience is the biggest gift, which allowed her to see the world differently. People never have business problems, they have personal issues that show up in the business. Learning to say NO is powerful and learning to receive is as significant as giving. Pressure comes from the chain of consequences, taking them as facts. “
